Every Fall season we gather as the North Pacific Foursquare District to spend time together learning from phenomenal speakers, pastors and leaders. We come together representing three different states and over 100 churches with one common goal - reaching our communities with the hope of the world - Jesus. We celebrate the movement of God in our different communities and we hangout with others who share our passion. We come away inspired, refreshed, empowered and excited to return to the place God has called us. This year we will be gathering in Beaverton, Oregon, home of Nike and Intel. It's known for it's vast amount of green space with over 100 parks, 30 miles of hiking trails and a 25-mile network of bike paths. Located only 7 miles from downtown Portland, a true foodies destination, and some of the best coffee joints around. We hope you can join us for this time of connection and refreshment!

The Subversive Sabbath: How the Rest of God changes the World
This course will explore the biblical foundations of Sabbath, both in Genesis, the Ten Commandments, and in the life of Jesus. It will also investigate the far-reaching implications of rest on our minds, bodies, families, churches, neighbors, land, and even animals. The course will then examine particular challenges to rest that those in pastoral ministry face, how those challenges might be overcome, as well as how the gift of Sabbath may best be shared with one’s congregation. Lastly, this course will speak to practical steps to receive the gift that Sabbath rest is.
