This year we have the amazing folks from Compassion First who are running our Nursery Program. Our team leads are Tom and Shirley Opitz, who have served with Compassion First since its inception in 2005.  The have also served in the nursery at Beaverton Foursquare Church for twenty-nine years, some of that time as Nursery pastors.

Important Things THEY WANT YOU to Know:

  • Check-in is available 30 minutes before/after each session. Parents will need to check-in and check-out their children for each session.
  • We will have Cheerios (plain, gluten-free) available as a snack for our child. If you want to provide something else, please pack a snack for your baby in a bag or container with their name on it. Due to allergies, please avoid sending anything with nuts.  If at all possible, please send “ food pouch” snacks.  This will make it a little easier to keep other children from wanting to share the snack.  Of course, we realize infants might need bottles as well.
  • As a courtesy to parents, we will have a supply of disposable diapers, as well as baby wipes. There is no need for you to bring those for your child, unless they need a specific brand or type of diaper or wipe.  Please advise volunteers if you have any special instructions.
  • Please bring a diaper bag with extra clothes, bottles, and anything else you think your baby may need.
