A message from Supervisor Gabe Barreiro:

Dear Pastors,

Our President Glenn Burris is finishing out his final term marking a season of transition for us as a Foursquare movement. This week, I have been involved first hand in a communally discerned process with over 100 Cabinet leaders from around the country. After prayerful consideration, discussion and interviews, our cabinet is honored to introduce Tammy Dunahoo and Randy Remington as the two leaders who we will prayerfully consider for the role of the next President.

I have known Tammy and Randy for many years now. Each is a person of impeccable integrity and humility, and are passionate followers of Christ. They carry a deep love for this Foursquare family and a commitment to lead our movement in the power of the Holy Spirit.

You will have an opportunity to get to know them better, catch their vision for the future, and interact with these candidates through a Q & A format at the upcoming Presidential Forum on Thursday, April 4th at 6:00 pm at East Hill Foursquare Church in Gresham, OR.

With the absentee ballot available this year, each licensed Foursquare minister can vote in our presidential election without being present at Connection in Nashville.  As senior pastors, please take time to talk about and inform those licensed ministers who serve with you about this season and its importance.  These forums are open to all licensed ministers, and I would encourage you to invest in getting those who serve with you to this Presidential Forum.

In Acts 13, a group of leaders had entered into a time of fasting, worship, and prayer when the Holy Spirit made clear to them to “set apart” Barnabas and Saul for the work of the ministry. May God guide us in the same way as we pray and fast together to see whom He would set aside to lead our Foursquare movement into this next season.
